I am kind of shocked. I thought there were more Balck Sox collectors out there. Are my prices too high? I thought I was killing everyone else's prices especially for the high grades offered here. Oh well......,I would love to hear from others as to what they think.

As an active and avid strip card collector, including and especially the W514's, I think your prices are right in line given the grades and notorious/infamous subjects. It's the demand that's your main problem.
I think a lot of folks around here kinda thumb their noses at strip cards in general, especially for such nice grades when lower condition ("cheaper") examples could suffice. Such is the example for me. In my opinion (and this applies for strip cards only), anything with a number grade is a home run. I'd rather wait it out and find a low grade (preferably raw) example for a lot cheaper with almost the same eye appeal. They are strip cards after all. I just picked up this Risberg on ebay yesterday; luckily it wasn't labeled W514 which it think helped keep the price down. Judging from the (terrible) pic it looks like it is cut short on the right side and will only grade Authentic, which is good enough for me. The irony here --- especially the Weaver --- is that the high grade/price is the very thing that turns away active strip card collectors such as myself. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have them as part of my set but I just don't need them in that range. Consign them as a lot to an auction house and roll the dice. But I like to gamble. Good luck, Chris.
