I came across this auction that was from 2007 and wondered if the person that won this postcard was refunded ? As we know the writing on the card was done in production and not actually signed by Jackie Robinson. It also said it came with a PSA Letter. How do these things happen?
JACKIE ROBINSON SIGNED 1952 BROOKLYN DODGER SCHEDULE POSTCARD Awesome Jackie Robinson signed 1952 Brooklyn Dodger schedule postcard. Front of postcard shows great black & white photo of Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese making a double play. Reverse has the complete 1952 Brooklyn Dodger home schedule. Postcard made by Lumitone Photoprint - New York. Beautiful "9/10" Jackie Robinson signature in black ink. Above his signature Robinson has written "We'll nail them both in '52; the pennant and the World Series". Unused postcard is in about VG condition with a couple of creases that do not touch the writing. Tremendous overall eye appeal. LOA from PSA/DNA. |
