I wonder if any of you saw this list. Pretty neat list. Babe Ruth items hold 10 of the 30 spots...

Cool list. It amazing to see some of the prices on certain items. Maybe even high priced items have a bit of sniping.

I'm puzzled by the value of the Mantle jersey. Was this the last one he wore?

I think alot of the items are driven up by the game used card market where they can cut them up and charge $10-$20 or more for a pack of cards that have 5 cards or less in them.

2, 3, 5, 6, & 11 all seem overpriced to me.

There are numerous T206 Wagners that should have made that list, yet they only cited the most expensive one. But there are two different Barry Bonds home run balls on it. They should have stuck to the top thirty even if it meant including half a dozen Wagners.

Frank:
I think you have to be from the Great White North to appreciate the value of Paul Henderson's 1972 Summit Series sweater (No. 6 on the list). When he sniped the series-winning goal against the hated Soviets with 34 seconds left in Game 8 in Moscow, just over 85% of 30 million Canadians were watching the grainy trans-Atlantic telecast. It will forever be remembered as the biggest goal in hockey history — and for cementing the Us vs. Them storyline that set the stage for the Team USA's Miracle on Ice eight years later. Murr |

should be on the list. I think there have been numerous private offers in excess of $1 million that have been turned down. Especially given the last PSA 9 sold for over $250K, there is at least a strong p.o.v. for what a 10 is worth.
