That is, the one which you completed first out of the ones which you still have. When did you complete it? |

My oldest is the '52 Topps BUT I completed the '53 Topps in January of 1996. Last card was #229 Krsnich. |

1951 Topps Redbacks. Bought most of the cards in the early 80's, got some more as a Christmas present one year, finished it in 1990 or thereabouts, except for the 2 variations. Great set, one I consider the first concerted effort by Topps at issuing baseball cards along with the Bluebacks (which I consider as one set actually but that's another story as it would ruin my response). |

Oldest post war set completed, Topps 1959, in 1964. Oldest post war completed set, the 19 card baseball subset of the Topps 1948 Magic Photos |

And my mother only bought Wonder Bread (it helped build bodies seven ways, back then. But how many of the "ways" can you name?). But it doesn't matter, I was a two year old when that Bond Bread set came out, and I would probably have eaten the cards then. |

The oldest I completed were the 1960-64 Topps sets. I collected them as a kid but they were left behind in a family move in 1966 and I built them again from 1977-83 after I got back into collecting as an adult. |

To date, the 1949 MP&Co set is the oldest I've completed. It's not a very attractive set but it does have a Williams and DiMaggio card and it's not too expensive. |

First large set I completed was the 1974 Topps set when I was 15. I think the last card was Reggie Jackson. From 1976 on I bought complete sets, so those don't count. The next one I completed might have been '69 Topps, but that wasn't till 1978 or so. |
