I remember when someone asked Dave Bushing about the antique leather "athletic cup" the collector owned. Bushing informed him that it was not an athletic cup, but an early 1900s football nose guard. Luckily for the collector, a nose guard is worth substantially more than what he had thought it was. |

That example looks almost identical in every way to a Ken-Wel I have that carries a 1951 date on it. |
