Without Bill there would have been no 49er dynasty. Joe Montana and Steve Young would have simply been above average and Jerry Rice would have been teaching dancing lessons.

RIP. Even the folks in Packerland regarded him as a great coach. He also came across as a respectable man off the field, and after retired.
