Don't know that I've ran across this before. Just picked this up and thought I'd cross it over into the regular holders for T206's...but after looking at it...the Joss won't fit! Just wondering if this is something weird, or if Sovereign's would tend to be long once in a while? |

If by longer you mean measuring more from top edge to bottom, T206s are sometimes extra long. |

But, are there certain brands that would usually be the candidates for "extra long"? Curious if perhaps Sovereign's or even SV 150's in particular may have that type characterstic for being long? |

shows that there could be many trimmed t-206's. Not a fact...an opinion. |

Dave, it's likely more a product of where the particular card was located on the uncut sheet -- topmost row or bottom row -- than it is a matter of the brand of cigarette or the series. Although, since more cards survive from the most popular brands, those brands will have the largest number of long cards. |

Little o/t but indulge me...I just sold a T207 that was easily longer top to bottom then any other i had seen. I measured it(forgot what it was) but it was atleast 1/8 inch too long, if i remember right. These factory miscuts are much easier to find in sets like Crofts then they are in the sets that see major distribution like T206, or T207. It seems like almost every Crofts cocoa card i see has poor borders and measure differently. A lot of them only qualify for an "auth" grade which i think is unfair because they come out of the factory like that. SGC says that they can tell a card is trimmed even if it measures correctly and lines up right due to the nature of the cut. So whats the problem with cutting some slack on these cards that arent altered dont measure to spec. Maybe some sort of qualifier like PSA's MC but giving it an "auth" grade puts it in the same class as altered cards, and thats not fair. |

Here's my two tallest cards, at 2.716 inches tall. I don't remember if I measured the Maddox perpendicular to the sides or across the diagnol cuts. |
