T-3 cobb. Packaging for grading. Advice needed

Does anyone have any advice as to proper packaging for t-3 submission. Sleeves and card savers don't seem to exist for this size, and it is nerve wracking to send this thing 3000 miles for grading.

I've sent in a couple hundred T3s and T9s for grading. I usually put them in individual 6 X 8 top loaders, sandwich them all between 2 cardboard slabs with the submission form, put a piece of tape across all 4 sides so nothing can slide out, wrap that in a couple pieces of newspaper, box them tightly (with more newspaper) in those 4 X 11 X 14" priority boxes, use brown reinforced tape across all visible seams, then register / insure USPS them.

Also--make sure you comply with the draconian rules and regulations some of these grading companies mandate. If you don't, that gives them another reason to delay your processing. Good luck!

An added note to Keith. Thank you for the advice. Boilerplate PSA language seems to discourage "top loaders", but I imagine draconian standards mellow with premium submissions.

PSA prefers card saver I's over toploaders on standard cards.
As they are easier to remove the card. Keith is dead on w/ his
packing assesment. I also use the larger top loader 6 x 8, 7 x 9
& even use 8 x 10's.
I've sent PSA about 200 as well, and none have been damaged this
way. I even have a small submission of T3's right now that even
include a couple from Keith. As he has submitted for me and I like
wise do the favor.

2 cents worth. I have a Cobb PSA-1 (due to pinhole), Keith & Jeff have
PSA-4's and Jeff had a sweet PSA-6 as well...jay
