Nice grab, Bruce. I had to bow out when it went over 1200... The t215-1 Chase cup Red Cross looked like it did well also. I managed to pick up the t213-3 Chance, which I believe was the same one I owned from 1983 to 1999. My dad bought me a t213-3 chance with a chip on the right border at a sheraton astrodome show around 1982-3 for $25. I sold it raw on ebay for around $45 in 1999 on ebay. This may not be the exact Chance I used to own, but it makes a good story. Regards |

It looks like on the Mayo that his jersey has an "H" on the end, but I can't tell for certain. I wonder if the spelling was interchangeable and acceptable back then? |

Mayo obviously didn't care about the edict from the United States Board on Geographic Names to drop the "H" from all "Burgh"'s. And obviously the ball team didn't follow the edict either since the uniforms had the "H" on them. |

No I sure don't Jeff....I do believe it is a Pennsylvania team as there was a town name Valley Junction there at one time and the photographer's name comes up in a Google search as Pennsylvania. Certainly turn of the century or just prior based on the uniforms and equipment. |
