With the original purchase Greenmonster and I each took 5 and JC 3. I subsequently bought out Greenmonster so I have 10 and JC still has his 3. If history between us is any indication the grouping will never be reassembled. |

It's not too ridiculously rare, but I hit a $500 BIN on a 1938 Goudey baseball wrapper about a year ago. I've only seen three in my life, and I own two of them (one from each series). |

I spoke with SGC about grading them. Given the provenance I could provide they made a preliminary indication that they could slab them "A" even though they are not part of the original Rose issue. I'm inclined to do it for protection if nothing else but will likely wait until the National so I can submit them in person. |

I was able to purchase nine 1913 Voskamp's through an eBay seller. He had a lot of T206s listed and I simply asked him if he had anything else, and he did, nine 1913 Voskamp's. There was no Clarke or Wagner but I was/am still very happy about the deal. |

Holland Creameries Warren Ogden. I purchased a lot of 108 "tobacco cards" for $12.00 about a year ago, and Ogden was one of them, so I guess I paid 11 cents for it. Needed the money at the time, so I sold it to a board member pretty quickly, but I did manage a couple hundred thousand percent profit. |

Two cabinet cards of W. H. "Yale" Murphy. Both of these were purchased from two different eBay sellers at two different times around 1999-2000. The Newsboy was in with other Newsboy cards of actresses and actors, the Pach was with other Yale University cabinet cards in a large size photo album. Presumably a Senior's graduation type album because there were both students and faculty cabinet cards in the album. |
