Pretty cool that he is pictured as one of the tacklers on the R311-2 card. He is pictured on the one with Cotton Warburten |

He is easy to spot on photographs of Michigan's national championship teams from the early 1930's. He was one of America's most unusual presidents, having never been elected to anything other than the Senate. But he seemed like a decent soul, something the country needed after the fiascos of his predecessor. Also was the oldest president ever, a couple of months older than Reagan was when he died. |

Not much of a president, that's for sure. But an honest enough caretaker after Nixon. The guy was a stud of a football player and probably the most athletic president that we ever had. So it's kind of ironic that he's best known for Chevy Chase's parodies of him slipping on Washington D.C. ice. |

Just to respectfully correct a previous post -- I don't think it's fair to say that Gerald Ford was a man who was never elected to anything other than the Senate. |

As Rhett mentioned, Ford is pictured on a R311-2. The image below is actually an AP wirephoto (same picture as the Chicle premium). Ford is behind and just to the left of Warburton the ball carrier. |

Kinda reminds you of EVERY ballplayer that dies how all the crap is drug out of the woodwork and stuck on ebay for sale. Catfish Hunter, Ray Boone, Eddie Mathews, etc, etc. Human nature is what human nature is especially when a buck is to be made, huh? |
