I don't have a scan, but that T210 card of the guy riding the invisible bicycle has to be near the top of the list. Wasn't there a survey on this topic earlier?

Perhaps the most bizarre advertising campaign of all time is a meat company issuing a human body parts issue.




The below 1908 postcard issue has a strange design. When I first saw the below Wagner I assumed it was a misprint, but there are others with the same design, showing that it was intentional.





The below 1890 Colombus team cabinet card has a memorable design.





The below 1911 New York Highlanders (Yankees) postcard is an all time classic. Also known as Hal Chase in The Lost Weekend.





And speaking of rough nights, this is what Babe Ruth looked like Sunday morning.

Football photos from the 20's through the 60's were typically contrived; jump passes, stiff arms, and kick follow-throughs were the norm. This one is the best (worst) that I have ever seen. The guy on the 1933 Diamond Matchbook looks as if he was shot from a sling. My favorite baseball shot is Germany Schaefer's Dietsche postcard (sorry, don't have a scan available)

Why is that Fatty Arbuckle so hard to find? Is it especially scarce within the 1919 Zeenut set? Or is every 1919 Zeenut that tough?

Zeenuts as a whole are plentiful, as there hundreds of different cards. However, individual cards are limited. If you want to find a Zeenut, it's simple. They're all over the place. If you want to find a specific Zeenut, it gets tough.

I think part of the reason Arbuckle is so hard to find might be that after his murder conviction many people probably threw away his card. Just my theory.

Not to be nit picky, but Arbuckle had two trials that ended in hung juries, and was acquitted in the third- with a written apology from the jury. All accounts I've read said he was innocent. Little matter, Hearst had already tried and convicted him in the press and his career was finished.

And, I think Jay's correct. Many folks with Arbuckle cards would have pitched them out, with disgust. Hence the shortage. Plus it is an odd card, and maybe his only card, altough I have some sort of card of him that might have been part of a candy box, I'll try to scan it, post it, and see if anyone can identify it.

I've only seen a handful of Fatty Arbuckle cards from thousands of movie star cards I've seen from around the world. He was only in movie star trading card sets for a very short period of time, probably from about 1918 to 1921, maybe even a shorter window than that. Here's a very scarce one issued with Schuh Cigarettes in Australia in 1921.
