What's the story behind the Uncle Sam card that was posted in the recent pick-ups thread? |

About 3 Nationals ago, John Ramirez, or another veteran told the whole story, but I don't remember it. I know Thompson was the commissioner or League President though...... |

Thompson was the league commissioner. It is one of my favorite images on a card and one to talk about. I remember one on ebay a little over a year ago that was in poor condition that closed at a little over $300. I haven't seen another on ebay since then and it seems like a great price for such a unique image. |
