SGC Labeling Protocol for T206

A quick question for the experts: I've seen T206 cards on Ebay variously labeled 1909, 1910 and 1911. Is there a way to know for certain or is SGC simply typing on the label whatever the submitter has entered on the submission form?

Thanks for your help. I may be over-thinking my first SGC submission, but I want to make sure I get it right.

You can just put the guy's name if you want on the submission form. They know what a T206 is and, by looking at the back, can often specify the appropriate year (e.g., Series 150 = 1909). They keep it as 1909-11 on issues, like Polar Bear, where they are uncertain as to year.

Of course, there is always going to be some discussion that Series 150 cards may have also been issued in 1910, etc., but basically this is what SGC will do on their own. They are not just taking the submitter's word for it.

150 Series cards are definitely just 1909.

Mike Powers died in April, 1909 and only appeared in the 150 series. There's a clue right there that "150" was a 1909 series. When do you think the 350-460 series first appeared?
