Brian- I think its because most collectors confuse him with his brothers, one who is in the Hall of Fame and the other who died mysteriously and was one of the star players of his era. This is the one who carried a salami around in his back pocket during games and did nothing of any great note except defeat the Giants and McGraw in 1908 3 times in one week late in the season and was more instrumental in the Jints losing the pennant than poor Fred Merkle. |

When I collected my E93 set, I found Coveleskie to be much more difficult to find than any other card. I don't know why, but after I had 29 of 30, it took me additional full year to find a Coveleskie to finish my set. I think others have had the same experience. |

I don't know much about the reasoning behind how difficult it is to find. However, it's truly an awesome card with a great image. I would pick it up just because it's one of the nicer poses I've seen. |

The difference between Stanley and Harry Covaleskie (sic) is like the difference between Tommy and Henry Aaron. BIG. |

Frank- He was so overly sensitive that he was literally run out of the majors by the catcalls and taunts of opposing players. He was called the Giant Killer because of that 1908 season when he beat Mugsy's boys 3 times in a roughly one week period at the end of the season despite playing on an awful team. If the Jints had managed to win just one of those games they would have won the flag in 1908 and Fred Merkle could have died in peace. |
