On a local forum i'm on a guy is selling a 34 goudey gehrig and a 33 ruth graded 8 by SAG (sports authenticated graders). he says they went out of business in 2001 and I'm trying to verify how legit this is. Was this a genuine company? I can't find any listings for them, but I wanted to get any information I could. |

Hi. It sounds like another basement operation. If the person is local, why don't you just go look at the cards. Doesn't matter who's holder they are in. If you are going to spend that kind of money on 2 cards, you should be able to tell if they are authentic and the grade. Jim |

I would stay a mile away. If somebody has a real Ruth or Gerhig that is not tampered with and worth thousands of dollars, why would they not get it authenticated by a reputable company before selling it? |
