I have a family member who works for Bally's and she ended up with a handful of these hand signed Willie Mays photos. She doesn't know what they were used for, other than a promotional item. Any thoughts on the authenticity? What would be the best route for selling a couple of them? Are they worthless if not authenticated? Would they be worth authenticating? If so, by whom? |

Mays signatures are far from rare and he's still signing a bunch through his site. Those photos are probably worth $35 a piece, maybe a little more. It would not be worth authenticating since most charge $50+. |

that it's not an autopen signature. Mays did sign a lot of stuff but if it was for the casino, who knows? If you have multiple copies of the photo verify that the signatures are slightly different and located in slightly different places. NO ONE signs their name the same every time. Variances in size, width, height, etc. And You'd never sign in the exact same place. Might be angled a little more or to the left or right. They definitely look like later Mays signatures though. |

It's good. No one else spells Willie with an "f". |

Wille worked for the casino with Mantle until MLB told them no more. The signitures are perfect. |
