I found this recently while going through some of my dad's old collectibles. (No. It did not fall out of the ceiling while renovating. I knew I had it. Just hadn't seen it for a while.) Thought it might be fun to share. |

Thanks for sharing. I love old Negro League items. I didn't know anything about them growing up until my father told me that he used to sell peanuts at some of the games in Michigan when he was a kid. After that, I started reading up on the history and the players. It's a fantastic history to learn about. I wish I could have seen these guys play ball. |

I've never seen that either Jim....Great item. Maybe we can get Chad or Ryan to chime in on this because I'm betting they've seen or have knowledge of this publication. |

Jim- smart move. Considering how significant this is, and the fact that nobody has seen it, suggests it is worth a bundle (don't know the exact definition of "a bundle" however). |

After doing some digging, it turns out that there is at least one other copy of this exact issue. It is cataloged in the archives at Howard University in the papers of the Edward Bolden collection. |

I mentioned to a couple of board members that, inside the magazine, I found a clipping of a game between the Crawfords and the Bushwicks (a local NY team). |
