Searching this board

It would be very helpful if there was a search feature on this board.

But I have found a way to kind-of search the board.

Go to http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

Type Network54.com in the DOMAIN search

Type in what you are searching for- ie: T-206

It gives you a bunch of links that don't work, but you can see the date and poster of the pertinent post. Then you can click around on the links at the bottom of the forum to find the date you are looking for.

It is slow going, but MUCH quicker than looking at every page.

This board is a HUGE resource of information. It is a pity we can't reference it much easier. I hope this helps people.

All the more reason that we need to move to a host that allows searches and forces everyone to register before posting.

There are so many good hosting programs out that will allow you set up catagories, i.e. I hate PSA, cards, photos, memoribilia, auctions, B/S/T, and anything else we can think of.

We have outgrown the usefullness of Network54 and really need a host that can better serve our needs.

For example, for the newcomers it would quickly be revealed that I'm permanently quit this board more times than an aging boxer retires.

I can remember swearing I would never even look at this board again...at least twice. One board member later recalled that thread, basically suggesting to me that I keep my promise. I have since decided that this is better than spending my free time marketing a "runscott signature" burger-maker.
