Maybe we owe our mommies a bit of gratitude...if it hadn't been for their incessant attic cleaning, our beloved pieces of cardboard wouldn't be nearly as rare

When I was 10 I figured I was ready to pass to man-hood, so I threw away my '62-68 Topps baseball cards. I'll never forget that moment.

My mom never threw out my stuff. This may appear to some to be a sexist statement, as I had also had a dad. But, let's face it, dad wasn't in charge of these things.

If anything, we should be thanking the moms of the world. If they hadn't thrown out all those cards, the remaining cards would be worth much less.
