Default 85-Year-Old Time Capsule Found During McCoy Baseball Stadium Demolition

Any guesses on what might be in the time capsule?

I doubt anything made of paper survived.

Default Time capsule

I recall there being a story of memorabilia from the 33 inning game being stowed away in a time capsule

Oh wow! I have been to that stadium a few times with my brother in the 1980's on different baseball trips. We loved that stadium.

We met an older gentleman that was a retired writer for a local newspaper and talked with him a lot during the game. After the game was over, he took us down to the offices to meet with the owner of the team. We talked briefly, maybe about 15 minutes and was really nice that he took the time for us to visit. I remember he had a few pictures of T-206's hanging in his office. It was an awesome night!

I was very sad to see that the stadium is no more but I would love to see what is in the time capsules. I wish I had some kind of memorabilia from the stadium. At least I have the memories.

Didn’t realize the stadium was coming down. Cross that off the bucket list.
