Default M101-5 Post -Looking for an Ebay buyer. (BECKER & CADY)

December 14th someone on ebay purchased (2) 1916 Sporting News M101-5 cards #12 and #23 (Becker and Cady).. If you are the buyer of either of these cards please reach out to me directly with a message.

Geez, somebody made out like a bandit on those. $168 for the pair. These were part of a three-card lot (with Bobby Wallace) that REA sold for $35K in 2011. That price was ludicrously high, and now these are just as ludicrous in the other direction.

I don’t know what the cards look like, but decent copies should each fetch in the $10k range. Those are rare cards. Wonder why they made it to eBay and also wonder if the seller will follow through on the sale if he/she finds out what the cards are really worth.

Cardboard bandit for sure.

They were beat Jay, PSA 1s I believe, but still significant/rare like you said. Seller did follow through with the sale, and I made them aware they grossly undersold.
