Checking in for opinions whether there will be a good selection of vintage (pre and post WWII) at the Burbank, CA show February 15-18. I see it's at the classy-looking Ontario Convention Center. What has your experience been in the past there? I'm assuming it's been there before. Would this be considered a "West Coast National" show? Thanks.

with that many vendors, of course there will be vintage. Whether is is the vintage you want or at the price point you want is a different story

A friend of mine went to the last show and it was a LOT of modern, but he was ok with that because that is what he collects.
The last show I went to in So Cal was the Front Row show in Pasadena. It was a lot of Pokemon, modern, ultramodern with a bit of vintage. There were a few vintage only dealers, with some really nice cards, even some scarcer pre-war, but the prices were a tad high. |

The next Front Row show is this upcoming weekend at the Pasadena Convention Center.
https://frontrowcardshow.com/collections/pasadena There will be some vintage for sure since it sells, but most of it would be post-war. I saw some really nice photos last time too. I am also going to be at the Ontario show in February and at least a few other vintage dealers I know will be there too. It is a huge show, and the one in Anaheim over Labor Day weekend will be even bigger, if last year's 800 tables is a guide. I hope it becomes a West Coast National but it isn't there yet since there isn't a giant morass of corporate crap in the middle, obnoxious breaking areas, or overpriced signers, but it does have some annoying jackholes bloviating into their insta accounts, so there is hope. ![]() As for prices, well, that just depends on the dealers. My stuff is (always) modestly priced but if you are looking for a 19th century HOFer, my table is not the place to look.

I was excited when I saw the title, but had forgotten that the "Burbank" card show is actually in Ontario which is 50+ miles (of LA traffic) away.
Just sayin', not technically complaining. |

It's called Burbank because Rob Veres who owns Burbank Sportscards is the major figure in running the show.
The Dallas Card show is held in Allen and suburb of Dallas, the Philly card show is held in places other than Philadelphia, etc.
