Default Mr. Ward's Perfect Game

It's rare for a NYT article to include an old baseball card. I thought Net54 readers would enjoy this piece. Hope it can be read. Peace.

I just saw this on the NYT as well. Good timing with the perfect game pitched this week.

Great article! I have always believed that Ward was the most underrated 19th century star and Harry Wright the most overrated.

Thanks for sharing! I remember him from Ken Burns' series as well I think the first episode as he helped organize the failed Players League.

Thanks for sharing! Ward is one of my favorite 19th century ballplayers.

Big fan of John M. Ward. This was the first N172 player / pose run I completed.
