Default RIP Denny Doyle

As a kid, I remember the organist for the Phils used to play the theme from Batman whenever he came to the plate due to the frequency of his swings and misses resulting in a flung bat.

I am a proud “graduate” of the Doyle baseball school…class of 1980.

Denny was there every day in the dirt…and the stories on the days it rained were awesome. he was just a good dude.

Since every thread needs a card, this one's for Denny. He was one of my favorites when he played for the Angels in the mid-1970s. Rest In Peace.
