1950 Bowman Baseball Set "fact"?

I wanted to know something about the 1950 Bowmans, so I looked it up on the PSA website. As I read the entry I went "What?" I don't think anyone who knew anything about the set did the editing. Notice anything wrong? Here's the entire entry from the PSA website:

The 1950 Bowman set consists of 252 cards, each measuring 2-1/16" by 2-1/2”. For the first time, Bowman utilized full-color artwork for its card front display of a player surrounded by a thin white border. The set is anchored by Hall of Fame subjects Joe DiMaggio (#3), Bob Feller (#6), George Kell (#8), Phil Rizzuto (#11), Warren Spahn (#19), Pee Wee Reese (#21), Larry Doby (#39), Bob Lemon (#40), Roy Campanella (#75), Duke Snider (#77), Ted Williams (#98), Early Wynn (#148) and Casey Stengel (217). Cards found in the low numbers (#’s 1-72) are the rarer of the 1950 Bowman issue and hold the majority of the Hall of Fame players. Variations can be found on the reverse of the final 72 cards (#’s 181-252), which were printed with and without the copyright line at the bottom of the card, the “without” version being the less common of the two.

Hmm, nit-picking - or major gaffe, don't know. Maybe because the brief left out a few stars, like Robinson, Berra, etc.? The Jeopardy answer is....?

Well, this is nit picking probably, but I think they could have included Yogi Berra among the key cards and MAYBE Jackie Robinson. Just my 2 cents though.

It was the "Joe" DiMaggio that caught my eye. I wish there would have been one that year, but sorry, no.

I'm half way through the set and I do think abut that from time to time...wish he was in there.

Been trying to get all the copyright and no copyright variations. Still need a few. The no copyright can be tough and the higher the number in the series the tougher

Yeah, why wasn't he? Did he have an exclusive deal with Leaf, maybe? He was in their 1949 set.

I don’t think DiMaggio had a deal with anyone in his later playing career. He appears in Leaf and Berk Ross because they were illegal sets that ignored securing people’s rights (which cut the second series of Leaf short, as I understand it, when they got sued). He signed a deal with Bowman for advertising in 1953.
