OT: Going to Cooperstown
Hi Everyone,
I tried searching for previous threads about places to stay near or in Cooperstown, but I'm looking for places that are dog friendly? We are planning to go in the third week of April. I'd love all of your input/suggestions. Thanks! Andrew

Not sure anout dog friendly but going to HOF induction in July. Lee Smith is a personal friend and is being inducted. I am beyond excited as I have never been and having a friend inducted is the icing on top.

My daughter and I went for five days last year and the first night we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express just five minutes south. It was clean and reasonable with a good breakfast. I think they had a pet rate?
We stayed the other four nights at the Otesaga which is a wonderful but very expensive experience. Ommegang Brewery is both a fun stop and the food was outstanding. There is a very nice bakery on the corner of Main Street that has great stuff.

We usually do a grand slam - cider house (Fly Creek), distillery (Cooperstown), winery (Pail Shop), and brewery (Ommagang).

I used AirBnB to find a place when I visited a couple of summers ago. There's lot of options there, and I'm sure some will allow a dog, especially since it's not the busy time of year.
