FS: Topps Vault Archive: DVD-R 25,000+ Images

Hi Board.

For the past several years (2007-Present), I have been archiving Topps Vault's eBay auctions (lots & hammer price).

I have amassed over 25,000+ images that include all-4 major sports, focusing specifically on original negatives (13k+ baseball) -- but, also film positives, match-prints, proofs, Gelman's stuff, uncut sheets, et al.

Though incredibly time consuming -- it has been a labor of love chronicling the history of the brand.

My files are extremely well-organized -- and for quick reference, very user-friendly.

If anyone is interested, I would be willing to make DVD-R copies for $16 ppd.

Hi Howard.

It is image, description, hammer price, & month/year of sale.

I started this because I wanted to capture images that Topps never released -- but, my obsessive compulsive side took over & I ended up cataloging almost everything (even images that I wasn't especially taken to).

Everything is in it's own corresponding folder.
(ex. original negatives are split 1955-1969, 1970-present, proofs by year/issue, etc.)

Everything is chronological.

So, if you wanted to reference all of Sandy Koufax's 1957 images -- it would take you 10-seconds to find it.

Let me know if you'd like me to send you a screenshot so that you can see what it looks like.

I promise you, it is very well worth the investment.

No wrappers to the best of my knowledge.

I remember there were several non-sport art boards offered during that period, but I didn't capture any of those images.

This compilation is very film negative heavy.

[1963Topps Set]

I received my copy today. My wife had to pry me away from the computer that is how amazing these images are. This DVD gives you a whole new dimension to the photos we have and knew over the years as we not only see those, but many alternates too! There is also art work and so much more. This has been an obvious labor of love and the gentleman has certainly done his homework and put his time into this project. I certainly highly recommend it!

Yeah, labor of love it was. I won't bore everyone by waxing poetically about my high-level observations -- but, suffice to say, I have a much greater appreciation of Sy/Woody/Topps (and their artistic vision).
