Early lead baseball figure

I found this in an old box of things my father had. It is 3" tall and made of lead. No name or markings on it.Looking for any info on it

Hi Hay', it sure looks like it belongs to a boardgame or action game, don't it?, but -- so far at least -- we haven't been able to find a match for it,
or, really, hardly even anything close.
The nearest thing similar to it in terms of that at-rest hands-at-belt pose is the lead batter figure from Play Ball ~ Everybody's Game,
a 1920s (two editions) number by Krieger Novelty -- but that guy's only about half the size of your batter and has a round base, not a square one.

Indeed, entirely possible it's from a trophy or some other sort of display piece, or anything else for that matter.
