Hello,
I am a new member that was directed over here to get some help on identifying some autographs on a few baseballs I have held on to for the last 15 years or so. Any help will be much appreciated, thank you in advance. I numbered each ball that I took pictures of in hopes to not confuse everyone. Onto the pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() #2 ![]() ![]() ![]() #3 There is a signature I have on two different balls here: ![]() #4 ![]() #5 ![]() #6 ![]() #7 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

On #1,#2,#3 you have
Warren Spahn Early Wynn Brooks Robinson Gaylord Perry Bob Feller Johnny Mize Bobby Doerr Johnny Pesky #4 sort of looks like Don Drysdale #6 is Jim Lonborg #7 has Tom Brewer Mickey Vernon Dick Gernert Frank Sullivan Mel Parnell Sam White Jim Piersal Ted Williams Some of the signatures on #7 don't look right to me,but I'm far from an expert.Maybe some other members can give there opinions.

Yea on #7 I can make out a few of the names. Comparing them to others signatures I have searched for and they are not the same.

FWIW, I have a vintage Red Sox ball with Jensen, Ted Wms, Higgins, Sullivan, and Piersall, and they all look extremely comparable. The Vernon isn't identical to my vintage one, but mine's large and on the sweet spot; perhaps this is Vernon's smaller "team ball" sig.

while all the other balls look authentic, as a guy with 5 Drysdale balls, #4 resembles the Drysdale forgery more than an authentic one, IMHO
The "Don" can sometime look like "Lou", nothing like this one. Here are few of mine so you can see the difference...for whatevr that's worth. Nice collection of balls. Last edited by Fuddjcal; 11-02-2013 at 09:38 AM. |
