The interesting thing, Mike, is that that is not a forgery. It is a rubber stamp used by the Yankees to respond to mail requests for Mantle's signature on sent-in items. I received one in 1961.

That's it, Shelly. I'd post mine, Ken, but it's buried somewhere in the basement--in a very safe place, I'm sure.
BTW, back in '61 I also requested a Maris autograph on my piece, and got a nice stamped Maris back in the same envelope. |
