"My mom threw out my baseball card collection."

Now, we've all heard this statement at some point. Does anybody have any specific recollections of this happening to them or anybody they know?

This has not happened specifically to me, but I remember hearing this statement at more than a few shows over the years. I'm sure there have to be a few good stories to tell.
