Hardly need to mention the fact that these guys make desicions of the utmost significance dollar wise with many collectors collections. A couple graders can seemingly make a card worth $400 or worth $5,000. In light of that I'm curious if anyone has ever talked with any of the head haunchos with either of the grading companies about this. Exactly what qualifications do these graders have? Are they sent to grading school? Are they "watched" over the first 90 days on the job? Do the grading companies keep track of who grades what, and take issue when graders miss something or when a card needs to be bought back? And just how much money does the "average" grader make a year? |
