Default 1939-1940 Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph Pirates Album Set Info Needed

Just plucked these out of a Pittsburgh area collection I recently bought. It chronicles each of the 40 seasons of Pirates history from 1900-1939. Pictures a different player each year and depicts Hall of Famers like Wagner, Traynor, Waner, Vaughan, Waddell, Lindstrom and a few others. Measures from 4x6 to 4x8 and also has write-ups, stat histories from a fellow named Chilly Doyle. It appears as if these were issued one per day and they retain the design format which could add to collector appeal. Any info or any other board members own one? I have all 40 so I can provide a checklist if needed. Issued in 1939 or 1940? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever seen one of these or had in their collection? This is a first for me. I know newspaper issues don’t get a lot of love in general but I found this one to be pretty interesting.

Never seen them but since they are a series of articles, and not any kind of card (*even a paper one like the 1936 ones) I don't know how much interest or value they would get. Pretty cool though.

These started in the Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph on February 25, 1940. It ran every day until April 4th. Thr last entry was Ray Mueller.
