Default More federal money for cards??

It might not buy you a '52 Mantle like some PPP offenders during peak-Covid, when the whole sports card market exploded, but hey, maybe it'll get you across the finish line in an upcoming auction!

Think I'll put mine toward a Clemente auto. How about you?!

This has been a rumor for various things for a year now, for various different reasons. It could happen, but it's best to see action before even thinking about it.

Rather than making plans around anything this administration isn't directly telegraphing with plans you can see in motion, it's probably best to wait for action rather than words.

The stock market long ago quit responding in major ways to anything but direct action rather than what comes out of his mouth or his administration's mouth. It barely moves markets these days.

Too much has been lost (and gained for some) on threats and promises that don't even last a week before they're dead in the water, not because an action failed, but because the action never even started.

I'd rather have any credit go towards paying down the deficit.

per AI we are going the wrong direction

The U.S. federal budget deficit is currently around $1.8 trillion for fiscal year 2025 (October 2024 to September 2025). Compared to six months ago, which would be around April 2025, the deficit was approximately $1.3 trillion. Therefore, the deficit has increased by approximately $500 billion over that six-month period.

Hopefully they arrive together. I would like a 1952 Topps Eddie Mathews to replace the one I traded for a Red Cobb.

Together they can be the down payment on my new 50-year mortgage!
