CGC cards

Show one if you want to. This type card is one reason I go to the national. The main reason is to see friends I have known for 25+ yrs....And to meet people I work with everyday but haven't met.

This is the only 1936 Home Run Candy Foxx I have seen but no doubt there are a few more out there. The redemption on back is on very, very few...so not sure there is another redeemed Foxx out there. IF so, I am a buyer (as well as any of these, for that matter)

I am excited to add this to the other 17 I have. (I feel like DJ, hoarding all the red backed Crofts)

Sorry, but this is the oldest one I have (for now). After watching "No No: A Dockumentary," I wanted to find a card that captured Dock and the '70s Pirates -- I think this one does that.

The people I worked with at every stage of the CGC/JSA process at the National -- for in-show submissions and autograph guest authentication -- were hands down the friendliest and most helpful of any show I've been to. I've loved SGC since I got back into the hobby, but they don't do autos and they're going the way of the dinosaurs. PSA slabs just look generic to me and we all know what they're like to deal with.

I'm all in on GCG going forward.

I entrusted them with two true rarities at the show for take-home grading. They encouraged me to send them my research on the cards. Seemed very reasonable and willing to work with collectors. Now that SGC is part of the Evil Empire, I am rooting for CGC to become a good alternative for vintage. I also really like their holders. I've made a few subs. The baseball I have:

It depends on whether you are buying cards or numbers.
