Default From Reddit: 1950 almost completely signed Bowman set

FROM REDDIT:

This 1950s Bowman Set – Nearly All Autographed (98%) & Framed – Seeking Thoughts, Value & Next Steps

Hey everyone,

My brother and I recently inherited something truly special from our father—a complete set of 1950s Bowman baseball cards. The set is nearly *entirely* autographed, with only three cards unsigned. Every card is mounted in sequential order and framed in two separate display pieces.

Some standout players included (just to name a few):

* **Mel Parnell RC (#1)**
* **Bob Feller (#6)**
* **Phil Rizzuto (#11)**
* **Warren Spahn (#19)**
* **Pee Wee Reese (#21)**
* **Jackie Robinson (#22)**
* **Don Newcombe RC (#23)**
* **Yogi Berra (#46)**
* **Roy Campanella (#75)**
* **Duke Snider (#77)**
* **Ted Williams (#98)**

We believe the cards are from the 1950 Bowman set, and again, all but three are signed. They appear to have been stored/displayed carefully for decades.

We’d really appreciate your thoughts on:

1. **Potential value range** (or if anyone’s seen something comparable)
2. **Best path forward** (grading/authentication, auction house, private sale, keep, etc.)
3. **How framing/mounting may impact value**

Posting a few photos and happy to post as few more if requested. Thanks in advance for any guidance!

I saw that too.. absolutely insane.

What do you guys think it will go for at an auction, assuming that's the route they take?

Looks cool. I have the feeling that the signatures are faded because they were in those frames and were on display.

Those are fugly. Bottom barrel examples. I'd personally pass on them unless they were really cheap. Fillers only. The Ted Williams is secretarial.

Heritage chimed in, thought 20-30k. That would be my assumption as well, provided they are all real.
