Modern food issues!

Little Baseball cards in cellophane packets were included in bags of Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips that were sold in Canada from the spring to the early fall of 1993. Here are some samples from the set of 50 I just acquired:

In 2019 and 2020, Topps teamed up with Utz to put packs of cards in bags of chips. I got a couple of the 2020 packs, but you had to by a big bag of smaller bags to get a single pack of three (I think) cards. Two of the packs I received:

Hey, wow, I love Squirt! Pity it's not been available here in southern Ontario for sixty years or so.

Were those Squirt cards distributed in and around Detroit or were they more widely distributed?

I grew up in Southwest Ohio. We had Squirt here. I live in Northwest Ohio now and we still have Squirt. I guess I never realized it wasn't in some places anymore.

Squirt originally came 60 3-card packs to a box for a special promo. You got a pack when you bought a Squirt product. Had them in MI, but you could see the top card so packs were cherry picked

Good catch! I was thinking the ones that said "cereal series" were from cereal and these were from dog food (we bought a lot of Purina dog food at the time and I remember getting prizes out of the bag). I was clearly misremembering this card since it says what cereal it came from on the back. !

1982 Roy Rogers Yankees lids got these in person when they came out I knew a person who worked there and 1986 Keller's ugly Baseball Cards

They did put cards in with dog food though! (Or at least with dog treats.)
