*This is a paid ad post*
Hey Guys! Apologies for the long post, but I think it will be worth the read! For the past few months I have been working very hard on a site that I think could save both collectors and dealers a lot of time and money. This site was created for fellow vintage collectors and is a hub to help vintage folks do a few different things more efficiently. Here are those things: The Deal Finder Tool: The Deal Finder Tool was created to eliminate the overpriced fluff from the vintage card market over on eBay. The tool essentially finds a recent average sale price of a particular card in a particular condition/grade and compares current active listings to that price. Any active listings that are priced below that average, are filtered through as a deal. It’s a much more efficient way to search eBay for fairly priced cards. These listings show a picture of the card and a link from the tool to the actual listing on eBay for purchase. The Comp Finder Tool: The Comp Finder tool is a much easier way to check comps for vintage cards, and automatically calculates an average recent price for a particular card in a particular condition/grade (the 5 most recent sales for raw cards, the 3 most recent sales for graded cards). The search pulls up recent sales for that card in all available raw conditions and all available grades in seconds, which is much more efficient than the current process of comp checking. The Collection Tracker Tool: The Collection Tracker Tool uses those recent averages calculated from the Comp Finder Tool and allows users to input actual cards from their collection and its particular condition/grade and track the total value of your HOFer collection in real time! It is an awesome resource for collectors to have access to and it can be updated and changed at anytime. The tool is unique to each user so the total value displayed will be unique to your collection and the cards you input. After months of building, testing, feedback, and personal use I am finally confident enough to release the site out to the public for use. I have added a 3 day free trial to the site for you guys to register and test it out for a few days. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and many users have made/saved much more than the monthly cost already. If you do decide to subscribe after or during the free trial, it can be cancelled at any time in the future as well. I would love for you guys to have the opportunity to check it out if you think this may be something of interest. Any feedback is helpful for the creation of a better tool, as this is something I am planning to continue building on to improve the subscriber experience. Below is the link to the site where you can register for the free-trial: https://vintagecarddeals.com/welcome Thank you! -Fish |

Why does your site not disclose the price of subscription on the main page? If one gets brave and clicks on the start trial button, the price of admission after the trial is still not disclosed.
Why aren't there visual examples of the site and its GUI for prospective users to see without having to blindly signing up for membership? Your post makes a lot of claims with nothing to back it up that I can see. |

The subscription price is listed on the welcome page at $5 per month in the top paragraph. |

I look forward to trying this out, as I'm sure others do. And hopefully we'll manage to get our feedback to you a bit more politely than some... 🧐

What time frame are you using to figure out the average price? For the Comp Finder, you says its the 5 most recent sales for raw cards, the 3 most recent sales for graded cards. Is that the same data used for the Deal Finder?

Yes. That is correct. The deal finder uses those same criteria to compare active listings too. That is why at times when a user searches a more rare card (Ex. Goudey Ruth) it won’t populate any deals, because there aren’t enough recent sales of that card to compare the active listings too. I wanted to create the tool in a way that was as thorough as possible with as little outliers as I could.

Best of luck - I can tell you put a lot of effort and heart into this and I wish you well. I’ll take a close look for sure.

Thank you for that! I’ve got a pretty thick skin. Feedback is what helps me improve the tool, whether it be positive or negative. Thankfully, the vast majority so far has been positive. Looking forward to you trying it out!
