FS: Gil Hodges Type 1 photo used for 1950 and 1951 Bowman cards.
I have a beautiful one to offer today. This is a type 1 of Gil Hodges used for his 1950 and 1951 bowman cards. Brooklyn baseball club stamp on the back, these were issued by the team, you may have seen other type 1 photos with the club stamp, they include Campy's iconic 51 bowman and Jackie's 1950 Bowman. Both of which I have seen more copies of than Gil.
Photo has a few small rips along the left border and generally has surface wear/foxing and corner wear as shown. Image still presents wonderfully with a great image and clarity of Gil. Measures just under 8x10. $750 for this great piece. Shipping will be priority in a large box. $10 flat, I'll cover the cost over that. Payment by ppff or check please. Cards not included. Just for show, sorry.

Gil is my second favorite player of all time. If you are watching this thread waiting for price cuts, I'm sorry they aren't coming. It's one I thought I'd put out there in case somebody was looking. But am more than happy to keep. Thanks for looking.
