I have found that I like buying the old time MLB HOF players in PSA/DNA slabs in postcard format. It gives the player more room to sign the card along with a much better format to have a good visual picture of the player.
I was wondering, if there is much interest in that portion of our collecting hobby? |

Personally like collecting these particularly if they addressed to someone and have a postmark from that era. Just me though

Not my jam, but I can see how others would be into it.
More than anything, I have to draw the line somewhere. Otherwise I’m bound to collect just about everything.

They often seem to provide the most affordable option for the depicted player.

I like them, though I'm only pursuing the 1953-55 Dormand issue at this time. I'm good with either signed or unsigned and don't mind a postmark at all - it pegs the card to a certain date/time/location, though the USPS does usually take it's toll on the corners/edges.
Also, you can occasionally find postcards that are signed and addressed in the players handwriting as is the Rizzuto below.
