I've been a lifelong (band wagon sometimes) fan of the Cardinals since the late 50s. Just wanted to see what neat stuff is out there and show a little of mine. If you've got a story, collection, or whatever - I'm sure everyone would like to see it.
Here's a 1938, Type 1 autographed photo of Pepper Martin's Mudcat Band, a 1934 Cardinals/Dodgers autographed ball - along with the box it came in and snapshots from the stadium (Dizzy Dean on the side I think and Frankie Frisch signing some balls for kids), a 36 Goudey R311 of the 1934 World Champion Cardinals, and last but not least, a 1936 Sport Stamp of Dizzy. Hope you enjoy the photos, and please post the treasures you may have. |

Always loved that photo of the Deans. It has a classic "Bonnie and Clyde" look to it.
Scott, can you remind us what those 2 ticket stubs represent? I know you've shown it before, but my memory is failing me... Thanks!

I agree BTW, awesome photo image taken shortly after Paul's wedding in December, 1934. In this framed Dizzy & Paul piece the ticket on the left is a Paul "Dazzy" Dean win ticket; the one on the right was a win for 'Ol Diz. ![]() Last edited by Scott Garner; 09-25-2024 at 09:31 PM. |

That's an awesome presentation and a great tribute to the Dean Bros.
Thanks Scott!

Here is one of my favorite Gas House Gang items. I think this Medwick promo card is fairly scarce.
My absolute favorite item though is Dizzy Dean's ML debut scorecard from the final day of the 1930 season. My upload attempt failed due to file size. 20-year-old Diz pitched a 3-hit complete game 3-1 victory over the Pirates, and even singled in his first career at bat, scoring the game winning run in the same inning. He couldn't crack the St. Louis World Champs roster in 1931 and didn't return to the bigs until 1932. |
