Gone With the Stain for a soak?

Ever since I picked this item up last week, I've read a lot of old threads on Gone With the Stain and its history. Has anyone used this service since Dick passed away?

I don't expect to make soaking a hobby -- I just want it for this one item -- so I'd rather trust a pro than my non-existent skills.

Yeah, more info is obviously needed. Is the 'card' adhered to the canvas and you want it removed? Is that the issue? Or is it something else?

Perhaps oddly, I find the card more attractive adhered to the burlap. I would leave it as-is.

I don't collect 19th Century cards, though, nor do I know much about that segment of the hobby. So, mine is just an "eye of the beholder" opinion. It's possible this is just an eyesore to most collectors.
