Yes Sir, 1.5 Billion! I believe the target date is 2028 for completion. Maybe, just maybe, the A's can put together a competitive team by then!
Remember, no betting on baseball - just ask Pete! But hey, let's put a stadium on the Strip! This begs the question - Does a single baseball team generate more net profit (not gross revenue) than a large Casino? Food for thought. |

The stadium is probably going to be Fantastic
The Events will probably be Sold Out The Baseball Games will not be. Hopefully they start investing money in the team to make them competitive to excite the fans to come out to the ballpark But if the Ballpark is Opening in 2028 Then the team will probably not invest in baseball until 2027. Sadly

10 - 15 years after completion, it probably gets demolished for a revenue generating casino.

Pessimist...
![]() Maybe they'll dig up Jimmy Hoffa's body and deposit it below home plate in the new stadium. Or someone can start that rumor. I know you'll miss that stadium in Oakland. You have a lot of good memories there. The last time I was at the Coliseum was about 10 years ago. True to form, the stadium was pretty empty during that week night game.
