Picked up this A&G card today…one because it was $2 and also because it had scrapbook glue residue. I want to try my hand at soaking so that I can gain some experience when better cards come around.
Is the A&G card stock more/less difficult to work with then a T206 for example? Any veteran card soakers have any words of wisdom to get rid of the glue? |

My thoughts... That card will soak just fine. But I'm not sure you'll accomplish much. That looks like the glue/paste/whatever has soaked into the cardstock, you're not dealing with residue on the surface of the back of the card. So, soaking may help the card a tiny bit, but not a lot.
Do let us know how it goes for you. |

Agree with above, it was probably already soaked off and the glue stain remains, not much more to gain by doing it again.

I like the way it looks and would just leave if it were me.
The front looks really good

Hopefully, you can find several similarly affordable cards from this set featuring various scenarios for soaking. Collectors of the baseball portion of this set can be incredibly thankful that these cheap cards exist to practice their techniques and grow in confidence before tackling a ballplayer's card.
