So after making a good dent into the inexpensive Federal League players, I decided to start my father a collection of New York Highlanders signatures. It seems like this is a set that a number of you have worked on, so are there any tips for getting started? Right now I'm focusing on what can be found for around $30 or less.
So far I've got: John Dowd Gus Fisher Ray Fisher Chester Hoff Jack Martin Andy O'Connor Paul Otis Johnny Priest George Shears Who else should I be looking for? And I feel to meet my budget I'm always trying to find that small niche of players who signed a lot, but that fans aren't really excited about ![]()
