Help identifying 1910s/20s baseball card issued in France?

Hi all,

I acquired the pictured/attached card recently. Based on the seller, I believe it is French but that's all the information I have. I can't find any reference to this card from searching.

(My understanding is that the spelling "base-ball" went out of style in the U.S. in the late 19th century, but, given the printing and card style, it seems extremely unlikely that this card is that old. Instead, it seems that the French even to this day name the sport with that hyphen in the middle.)

Do you know what card this is? If not, is there any way to possibly identify the player(s)/team(s)/league pictured here? By some longshot does this photo itself look familiar to you?

It's tobacco card sized, and the back is blank.
