Does anyone know why Johnny Gee seems to have two different style autographs? Is one signed by him and another signed by someone else?

Both him. One vintage, one later.

The bottom one is indeed vintage, but I've also seen more modern 3x5 index cards signed the same way.

Some players changed the formation of certain letters over the years. Baseball's Gene Oliver comes to mind.

I can't say the same person signed both of those, but I know my own signature looks much different in my late 40's than it did at 30, or at 15.
It's probably the same person and his signature has just evolved over time as there are definitely some similarities in the signatures. |
