Default Tell me about this Exhibit Ted Williams...

Hey guys, had a Mantle of one of these at some point and learned it was a later reprint of some kind. This one I found very recently at an antique store. Is it an original and what would be a reasonable asking price?

ohh ok, now I see.. so it's a matter of "made" in USA vs "printed" in USA.

Did you already buy it? and the back maybe ok - these almost need to be looked at in person - the USA stamp dimensions also help – do some reading, there should be more info out there
The link above should help too! - look at your text on the bottom
“Printed in the U.S.A.” more often with “Made in the U.S.A.

these can be real tough to tell the difference

If original I have sold them for around 200.00

Good luck!

Jimmy

And, it may be semantics, but I don't think calling it "fake" in this case is correct. It's not like it's a counterfeit.

Well if you completely ignore the back stock, sure. It’s a much later reprint. The gray stock Exhibits are not originals.
