Default Who hit over .400 in their first 2 MLB seasons?

Today's trivia question. What MLB player hit over .400 in each of his first 2 seasons in the majors? Clue: post- 1901.

Shoeless Joe had a BA of over .400 after his first 2 full seasons, although he did not hit that mark both years.

I know it is not Roger Hornsby but he hit over .400 times in career and 2 of those times were part of him winning the triple crown.

Great player and I believe under appreciated

Now back to the regularity scheduled trivia. I to thought it was Joe Jackson but I believe he only did it once in his career

I hope this isn't someone who had two cups of coffee with 10 at bats.

If it wasn't, it would've been pretty simple to figure out, wouldn't it?

Next clue: The guy is a Hall of Famer.
